##  Architecture 

Harvard’s [Graduate School of Design](http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/) (GSD) has produced many influential architects of the last century. The [Department of History of Art and Architecture](http://haa.fas.harvard.edu/) started in 1874 as one of Harvard's twelve divisions. The university is also home to such architectural marvels as Le Corbusier's [Carpenter Center](https://carpenter.center/).
